FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
(FAQs)
Have questions? We've got answers. Here are some of the most common inquiries about our TAN approach and how it can benefit you.
What are the membership fees?
→ The investment in a TAN Membership is $150 per month. We have a three-month cancellation notification requirement. If that commitment scares you, that's OK. But it may mean your business isn't ready for membership.
What are the expected results?
→ When a Member completes training, obtains the CORE Diagnostic Analyst certification, and builds their pipeline following our process, they can expect to have a revenue-producing pipeline while spending less than 25% of their time on business development. Further, they'll be in a position to close three or more contracts AND three or more referrals over the course of the year. While you'll do your own math, we estimate that pipeline can produce over $300K on a annual run-rate. Not bad for an investment of $1,800 yer year.
Is this really just a job board?
→ No. TAN is a matching system built on diagnostics and referrals. You don’t browse—you get matched.
How do leads work?
→ Leads come from CORE completions. Either you create them, or TAN does and matches them to the most likely qualified member.
Can I still be part of other groups?
→ Yes. TAN is designed to complement, not compete.
Do I need to sell?
→ You need to guide, not sell. We give you the tools and context to do that with confidence.
How does TAN earn revenue?
All our revenue streams are defined and transparent. While we cover this in greater detail during the Information Sessions, TAN earns revenue from three basic Member activities.
Membership Fees. We currently have one Membership tier, and that carries an investment of $150 per member, per month. Potential members should be thinking long-term, and expect to invest $1,800 per year.
Variable referral payments. When TAN Members earn an engagement using the CORE Diagnostic in their sales motion, or win a PE Interim role, they pay TAN a referral fee of 10%.
PE Role Success Fee and Subscription. In our current model, we earn a success fee when a candidate we introduce is hired. In the future, we will bring PE roles directly to our Members via a subscription model paid by the PE. That's a win-win for all parties as the PE firm has lower cost of talent access. And, because TAN does not mark-up talent payments, PE firms can pay higher rates, and still save significant sums over the current process.
Over time, we expect the majority of our Member-derived revenue to be variable, coming from our Member's successful usage of Membership features. This also aligns our incentives: TAN is financially successful only when our Members are earning. Period.
